Everyone enjoys mindlessly scribbling their trades and calculations on scrap paper when they should probably be concentrating on something more important. The possibility of a trade can play on a coaches mind throughout the week and often lead them to overthinking it.

Using trades throughout a Supercoach footy Season is vital to team success. A coach will often burn trades unnessarily due to several reasons:

  • They are steaming
  • They are anxious
  • They are impatient
  • They are bored
  • They are desperate
  • They are unlucky
  • They are stupid
  • They are angry
  • They are cocky

To help keep track of trades, a common trade planner used by some coaches has been roughly drawn up for download below. Just print a few out and scribble trade scenarios all over them. Hopefully it can help you think pragmatically about your trades, or alternatively bring your chaotic doodling into some sense of order. Basically, its just a rough sheet of paper to jot down some potential trades in certain rounds at certain prices.

Below is an example of how to use the Trade Planner.
